This page explains which data is saved on SXP’s server the first time the plugin opens, and why. SXP never sells your data.
When you activate the plugin
The first time Choir is opened, it contacts SXP’s server to validate the license. The server keeps:
- a fingerprint of your computer, used only to enforce the two-computer limit;
- your country and operating system, for statistics;
- the date of activation.
Your IP address is used once to look up your country (through the country.is lookup service) and is not saved in SXP’s database. The plugin sends nothing else.
When you buy a license
Your email address is kept so your license can be delivered and recovered if you lose it. Payments are handled by our payment provider; SXP never sees or stores your card details.
When you visit this website
The site uses no cookies, no analytics scripts and no advertising trackers. Like every website, our web host keeps standard server logs (IP address, pages requested, browser type and time). SXP uses them only for traffic statistics. The page font is loaded from Google Fonts, so Google receives your IP address when the font loads.
When you email us
Your email and message are used only to answer you.
Your choices
You can ask to see the data we hold about you, or ask us to delete it, by emailing us at the address on our Contact page. The fingerprint of an activated computer cannot be deleted, because it is needed to enforce the license limit.
